School Attendance Certificates, 1897

Attendance certificates awarded to Elizabeth Owen by the Head Teacher of Barnardtown Infants' School, Miss Williams, for being present every time week ending 2nd April 1897 and for full attendance in May 1897.

Looking at the 1901 census we have found an Elizabeth Owen living with her mother (also Elizabeth) at 47 Bristol Street. This is probably the girl the certificates were awarded to. She was born 1891. Johns' 1901 directory lists William Owen, a plasterer, living at this address.
