Masonic Hall And Board Of Trade Offices
Masonic Hall situated at 109 Dock Street Newport (now 109 Lower Dock Street). Board of trade office was at 108 Dock Street.
Cardiff Road From The Courtybella End.
Part of the original Sirhowy Tramroad from Park Junction through Maesglas to Dock Street. Not used as a through route after 1880, used as sidings until 1930 when the lines were removed.

Postcard view, Airco Aerials Ltd, The Hyde, Hendon, NE9 Notice the temporary bridge is in place while the old stone bridge (built 1801) is demolished and the 'new' bridge is built. The new bridge was opened in 1927 so the view is probably 1925/192...
Dock Street Railway Station 1921
The former passenger station can be seen just left of centre. It commenced operations in 1852 and was closed in 1880.
