Newport Corporation Trams. Driver Will Chapman And Conductor

Will Chapman (William Chapman) was born in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, around 1884. He married Bessie (nee Bale) around 1909. In the 1911 census his occupation is given as Tram Car Motorman. He is pictured on this postcard standing behind tram 34 which ran up Stow Hill.
