Visit of HRH the Prince of Wales to Newport June 6th 1907

The Prince was visiting the Bath And West of England Show which was held on St Julian's Hill 3rd June - 10th June 1907.

People taking every vantage point. The message on the reverse of this postcard includes the words, "I should like you to have been here when the Prince was here. has there was thousands of people. But the weather was much against it, the Decorations were lovly."

The shop on the right is V. Clarke, Corn Merchant, just a little further on was Turner Street.
