John Cory

Cory, John is a Cornishman, having been born at Padstow. He is senior partner in the firm of John Cory & Sons Ltd. and Cory's Trading Ltd., with offices at Cardiff, Newport, London, Newcastle-on-Tyne, Paris, Seville, Bilbao, and other places. Mr. John Cory is chairman of the Cardiff Channel Dry Docks and Pontoon Co. Ltd., and of each of their associated companies - the Tredegar Dry Dock and Wharf Co. Ltd., Barry Graving Dock and Engineering Co. Ltd., Sharpness Dry Dock, &c.; chairman of committee of control of the Cardiff Exchange and of many industrial and marine insurance companies.
