Durham Road Girls School 1909 - The Toy Shop

Hilary Swan kindly sent us this photo. Hilary's paternal grandmother, Dora Kew, recorded the details on the reverse. Dora attended the school from 28 Aug 1905 to 11 Oct 1912.
The girls performed a sketch entitled "The Toy Shop" in a concert held in the Central Hall in which schools from the east side of the River Usk performed. The Argus reporter stated, "This sketch was perhaps the greatest success of the evening,"
