Thomas Morgan Llewellin, Mayor of Newport 1846 and 1867

Born in Llangynidr, Breconshire around 1816. In 1832 he began his 5 years as an articled clerk, in Usk Monmouthshire, to become a solicitor. He married Eliza Caroline Addams-Williams in 1840. They had three children: Trevor John Llewellin (1841 - 1842), Trevor Charles Llewellin (1843 - 1849) and Lilian Augusta Llewellin (1845 - 1925).

He was a solicitor in Newport and lived in Broad Towers, Caerleon. Mayor of Newport twice: 1846 and 1867 and a J.P.
