David Pearce

David Pearce won the Welsh and British heavyweight boxing title in 1983. His boxing career was unfortunately cut short due to illness which forced his retirement. He was born in Newport in 1959 and was one of seven brothers - six of which took up boxing. His father, Walter Pearce, was his manager trainer.
