White, Graham William L.D.S., R.C.S.I., 1880; member British Dental Association; J.P., Newport; an alderman of the Newport Town Council, and was Mayor of the Borough 1908-9. During his mayoralty he admitted the late Viscount Tredegar as the first freeman of the borough, at one of the most brilliant functions in the history of Newport, and Mr. White's speech on this occasion will long be remembered as a triumph of oratory. He is a prominent Methodist, a member of the Stow hill Wesleyan Church, where he was organist for 26 years. Address: 151 Dock street (Graham White & Son). Telephone 3733.
