Alfred Morgan James

James, Alfred Morgan is the managing director of the South Wales Brattice Cloth and India Rubber Company Limited. He is also a director of the Mon. and South Wales Building Society, and a member of the South Wales Institute of Engineers. He represented Newport at the Congress of the Chambers of Commerce of the Empire, held in Canada in 1903. He was president in 1907 of the Newport Chamber of Commerce Incorporated. He is a magistrate for the county borough of Newport, and a representative since 1915 of the Crindau Ward on the Newport Town Council. Address: The Rubber Works, East Usk road. Tel. 2275.
