Athletic Grounds

The Newport Athletic Club has spacious and well-kept grounds at Rodney Parade, near Newport Bridge, where sports, cricket, football, tennis, bowls and hockey matches are held during the seasons. The bicycle track is one of the best quarter-mile tracks in the country. There is also a very fine gymnasium and Winter tennis court.
