Cardiff - Bristol train entering Newport High Street
View westward from the Down main platform, towards Cardiff, etc., etc.: ex-GWR South Wales main line, also Western Valleys branches from Newport - all passing through the Gaer Tunnel - out of view to the left. The 11:25 regular stopping train to Bristol via the Severn Tunnel is headed by Collett 4-6-0 No. 6868 'Penrhos Grange' (built 3/39, withdrawn 10/65).
