View SW, towards Cardiff, etc. on the ex-GWR South Wales main line, also the Western Valleys. The Class H train of coal in modern 16-ton steel wagons is on the Up Through line and has probably come from Rogerstone' headed by Collett '2884' class 2-8-0 No. 3824 (built 9/40, withdrawn 4/64).
