Pathe News Description:
Full title reads: "Newport. A Whole Town En Fete - and all records broken in the Royal Gwent Hospital Carnival, in which thousands of gaily dressed revellers took part."
Decorated floats process through streets of Newport. Young children perform folk dancing as part of procession. Men in strange clown like costumes march in kazoo band. Grass skirted girls in Gwent - fancy dress aids to group of girls performing Hawaiian song. Another float passes by in parade.

No commentary or soundtrack but a rumble and a buzz.
