Pathe News Description:
Full title reads: "Newport. A Whole Town 'en Fete' - and all records broken in the Royal Gwent Hospital Carnival - in which 3,000 gaily dressed revellers took part, headed by the 'Queen of Sheba' & her court."
A brass band leads soldiers on horseback down a crowd lined street.
A large horse drawn float carries a woman dressed as 'The Queen of Sheba' and other women in fancy dress.
A float comes past decorated as a windmill. The girls on the float are all dressed as Dutch women.
Next comes a kazoo band - it is not clear if these men are black or merely blacked up.

Commentary:
No commentary, but soundtrack present for most of film.
